RHODE ISLAND #4

Rhode Island

So how are you liking Rhode Island so far.  See I told you a little State with so much to do and we are not finished yet.

So we talked about beaches and vineyards and breweries.  However you like to be more active.  Okay...

Rhode Island and all that water.  How about doing some diving?  Kalipso Dive Shop in Smithfield, Rhode Island.

You can get you up close and personal Under the Sea...no I am not going to sing from the Little Mermaid.  You can also go snorkeling and kayaking.  They have complet sales service and training.

Now something I have always wanted to do is go Horseback riding on the beach.  Here at Rustic Rides Farm you can do just that.  They have trail rides down to th ebeach and sunset rides.

How romantic.  It is also kid friendly with pony rides and some farm animals like chickens.

If you want a birds eye view you can go up up up and away....Parasailing on Block Island.  I had the pleasure of speaking with Bob Littlefield of Block Island Parasailing and Watersports on my podcast.  I was amazed at the fact that your feet don't even have to touch the water.  You can take off and land from the boat.  You can also soar high into the sky with the one you love.  They have tandem rides.  He even told me he had some Brides and Grooms in full regalia celebrating thier union high above Block Island.

Now once you come back down to land you may want to tour one of the many Lighthouses. Like Watch Hill Lighthouse Museum It was commissioned by President Thomas Jefferson in 1806!

So from the Lighthouses to the Mansion like Hearthside and the Hannaway Blacksmith shop you will always find something for you and the whole family to do in this Little Amazing State...Rhode Island
