When you say Disney you think Mickey, Minnie and Pluto and more. But when you say Christmas and Disney in the same sentence....it becomes a world of amazement. Disney pulls out all the Stops when it comes to Christmas Time. Disney's Four Parks and their Disney Springs is alive with Christmas. Decorations Galor....Christmas Trees...Lights...Characters dressed in Holiday Garb.
IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!
So let's talk about the Magic Kingdom. Aside from the spectacular decorations in a way only Disney can do, there is a special ticket event called a Very Merry Mickey Christmas. This wonderful event has a special Parade called Once Upon a Christmas Time.....grab your cup of Hot Cocoa and your cookie and enjoy this parade complete with Snow....WOW...snow in Florida....let your imagination run wild to when you were a small child waiting impatiently for Santa....
Cinderella's Castle is beautifully lit and makes that Winter Wonderland even more real...and maybe...just maybe...you may even see a Frozen Princess.
Disney World has many many many many...did I say many hotel rooms as well as camp grounds for your Camper/Motor Home. They do fill fast. If you stay at any of the Hotels they too are decorated beyond belief. For example, the Grand Floridian has a full size Ginger Bread House set up in the Lobby...and oh boy...does it smell wonderful. The Beach Club...with their enormous Chocolate Carousel. Unfortunately you can not eat that...but again the wonderful smell of chocolate...yum, yum. The Camp Grounds are filled with people who set up their Motor Homes with all their own Holiday Decorations. Make sure you go ride on a one horse open sleigh.....(with wheels)You can actually go on a tour of the Disney Hotels and see all the different trees....and the unique way they accommodate the decorations in the different hotels.
This is Camping!?
So if you are looking to rekindle the Christmas Spirit...you may want to visit Disney World. But be careful, it may just bring out the Kid in you.....HO HO HO Merry Christmas
